Apple Cider Sangria

Ahhh sangria. Who knew that mixing wine with fruit flavors could taste so good…I’m what you call a sangria enthusiast — white, red, blush, you name it — and I like to continuously experiment with new flavors. Since chilly weather is upon us and Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching, I decided to try out an apple cider-theme ‘gria. I usually associate red sangria with the colder months and white or blush sangria with the summer heat, but this white sangria recipe mixes bold, warming flavors (cue brandy and apple cider) to give it those essential fall flavors. Know what else is great about sangria? You can buy cheap wine that perhaps you wouldn’t normally buy (two-buck chuck, anyone?), and when mixed with a variety of flavors, it still tastes good! Plus, sangria is a great party drink: It looks good and can be mixed up in advance! The benefits of sangria are truly endless 🙂
