On my quest for all things pumpkin, I came across a few Pinterest recipes for pumpkin smoothies. And since I had pumpkin puree on hand and wanted to use up some of my protein powder, I decided to try a protein shake with pumpkin. What goes well with pumpkin? Well, besides everything, I’d say vanilla, cinnamon, banana, pumpkin pie spice…so I rounded up my pumpkin-loving ingredients, threw them in the blender, and voila. If you like pumpkin and are looking for a new fall protein shake, give this sucker a whirl.
Pumpkin Protein Shake
- 1/2 can pumpkin puree
- 1 banana
- 1/2 (or 1 full) packet of vanilla protein powder (I’m running low, so I only used a 1/2 packet)
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Blend ingredients until smooth, pour into glass, and enjoy!
