Cheeseburger Dip

Mmm, burgers. At our Saturday tailgate, I made cheeseburger dip to go with my Buffalo Chicken Poppers. You can’t really go wrong with a dip, especially if it tastes like a cheeseburger. And this one tastes jusssst like one! It’s like a queso dip on steroids, combining traditional queso flavors with sweet relish, ketchup, and mustard. I’m pretty sure I could eat my weight in dips…just saying. 🙂 Next tailgate, I definitely recommend this dip… It’s easy to throw together, and pretty much impossible to mess up!Cheeseburger Dip

  • 2pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 medium white onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 21-oz jar Tostitos medium queso
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • Scoop chips
1. In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker, cook ground beef over low until no longer pink (takes at least a few hours, so cook in skillet if pressed for time). In a medium skillet, cook onions and garlic over medium-high heat. Add onion mixture, cheese dip, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish to slow cooker.2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours or on high-heat setting for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.3. Serve immediately or keep warm, covered, on warm setting or low-heat setting for up to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with chips.
